Judiciary moves to hold Merrick Garland in contempt

The House Judiciary Committee is holding a May 16 markup on a resolution holding Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress. House Republicans are taking this step after the Justice Department has steadfastly refused to release the audio of President Joe Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur.
