Nearly three-quarters of K Street leaders (72%) say the Department of Government Efficiency will haunt Republicans in the 2026 midterms.
Our latest Canvass survey found those sentiments cut across the board, with 88% of Democrats and 55% of Republican respondents saying the agency’s actions will hurt the GOP. Just 21% of survey respondents thought DOGE’s actions would help Republicans in the next congressional elections.
