Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) said he would reluctantly support the current continuing resolution as lawmakers work to avert a government shutdown by midnight Friday.

Cramer was speaking at The Conference, Punchbowl News' premier all-day event Tuesday, where he also talked about rural small business and the Trump administration’s efforts to downsize the federal government.
