Menendez pleads not guilty as more Dems call for resignation

Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) pleaded not guilty to bribery and corruption charges today as several more high-ranking Democrats have called for him to resign.

Menendez, who was accompanied by his wife Nadine, a co-defendant, ignored questions from reporters going into the Manhattan federal courthouse. Nadine Menendez and three businessmen charged in the alleged conspiracy also pleaded not guilty today.
