Oklahoma energy exec heading to the Senate

Energy executive Alan Armstrong will be Oklahoma’s new GOP senator following the confirmation of Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) to lead DHS.

Oklahoma GOP Gov. Kevin Stitt announced Armstrong’s appointment Tuesday morning. Armstrong will be sworn in to the Senate at around 3:30 p.m.
