Pete Hegseth is digging in on his nomination to lead the Pentagon, as Republican senators begin to cast doubt on the Fox News host’s confirmation prospects.
Hegseth had a full day of meetings with GOP senators, including incoming Majority Leader John Thune as well as Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), who will chair the Armed Services Committee in the next Congress.
