Senate Dems push back as GOP agenda moves forward

Senate Democrats are ramping up their fight against President Donald Trump’s agenda as the GOP makes progress toward advancing its tax and spending cut bill.

“Republicans did just what their boss told them to do, they closed their eyes and voted for a bill knowing damn well it will explode the deficit by $52 trillion and kick millions off health care,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a news conference today.
