Senate on track to confirm 10th Trump foreign ambassador pick

The Senate is continuing its record pace of ambassadorial confirmations on Monday, with Charles Kushner’s nomination for U.S. envoy to France on track for approval as soon as tonight.

Kushner’s nomination will have a procedural vote at 5:30 p.m., followed by a confirmation vote possibly two hours later. The confirmation vote could get pushed to Tuesday, depending on the exact timing of a procedural vote on stablecoin legislation.
