Thune: Saturday reconciliation vote ‘aspirational’

Senate GOP leaders told senators behind closed doors Friday that they want to hold a procedural vote on the reconciliation bill at noon on Saturday, even as Senate Majority Leader John Thune acknowledged this was “aspirational.”

Republicans are still waiting for key sign-offs from the Senate parliamentarian on updated legislative text, some of which is expected to come this evening. Other critical updates, including Finance Committee revisions on Medicaid cuts, aren’t expected until Saturday. And Republicans still need a CBO score.
