Aides for top Senate Intelligence Committee Democrat Mark Warner (Va.) will meet with a whistleblower who filed a complaint against Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, his spokesperson Rachel Cohen said Friday.
Under Intelligence Committee rules, Warner and his staff can take testimony “under oath or affirmation which may be administered by any member of the Committee.” The whistleblower’s attorney said late Thursday they were willing to “provide additional details” directly to Congress about the complaint “with appropriate protections.”
