House Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith (R-Mo.) is calling out his Senate counterpart, Mike Crapo, over the Idaho Republican’s reluctance to back the bipartisan tax deal.
Speaking at a lunch this week, Smith told attendees that tax writers had to take the “risk” and strike a deal without Crapo, top Republican on the Senate Finance panel.
