A tech advocacy group is urging Washington to protect artificial intelligence tools in a new ad that hit the airwaves when President Donald Trump was inaugurated.

The American Edge Project ad started airing on Jan. 20 in the Washington, D.C. area. The group counts Meta as part of its “coalition” and argues for a hands-off approach to the American tech firms in the name of economic growth and national security.
