Anthropic on Monday sued the Defense Department and nearly the entire federal government, taking to court the Pentagon’s unprecedented decision to classify the company as a supply chain risk.
In its filing, the AI giant called the DOD’s risk classification and President Donald Trump’s decision to halt use of Anthropic’s products across the government an “unlawful campaign of retaliation.”
