Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said he plans to introduce a bill “soon” that would ban users under age 16 from social media.

There’s been buzz around the idea of a ban until age 16 because Australia implemented one this week. Much of Congress appears to prefer other approaches to concerns about teens online, however.
