Senate Commerce Committee Chair Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said the new tech laws in California are motivating him to try again to overrule state regulation of artificial intelligence.

But Cruz also noted the challenges he’ll face in trying again, after a prior effort collapsed over the summer.
