Hawley bill bans chatbots for kids

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said Tuesday he’s introducing a bill that would stop artificial intelligence firms from targeting kids under age 18 to talk with chatbots.

“The new AI revolution that we have been promised will only be good for the American people if it actually protects America's children,” Hawley said at a news conference on the Hill.
