House GOP leadership wants the Energy and Commerce Committee to make more changes to the Kids Online Safety Act before it’ll be considered for the floor.

The panel advanced KOSA during a markup yesterday, but the hearing only exposed how uneasy both sides are about the bill. The measure would force big social media companies to design their services to protect kids and teens from a range of potential harms.
