Luján says Musk would threaten speech and competition at FCC

Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr has made clear Elon Musk and his government-cost-cutting project are welcome at the agency.

Sen. Ben Ray Luján (N.M.), the top Democrat on the telecommunications subcommittee, said he’s scared what that would mean for the free press and competition in the satellite industry where Musk’s business interests are so prominent.
