Top Democratic aide on House Judiciary calls for Google breakup

News: Breaking up tech giant Alphabet by selling off Chrome and Android would make it easier for the government to enforce whatever remedies a federal judge imposes to deal with the firm’s antitrust violations.

That’s according to Katie McInnis, the Democratic antitrust counsel on the House Judiciary Committee, who said she’d like to see that outcome for the Google parent.
