Two tech trade groups are warning President Donald Trump that tariffs on semiconductors would make it more costly to achieve his goal of building up U.S. infrastructure to power artificial intelligence.
The trade groups, led by TechNet, also laid out alternatives they said could help the U.S. maintain its “competitive edge” in AI.
