President Donald Trump has postponed the signing of the much-awaited artificial intelligence executive order set for Thursday afternoon.
Trump said the order could have gotten “in the way” of America’s lead over China in AI. The EO was expected to create a “voluntary” system for companies to share their state-of-the-art AI models with the government to assess major risks before they’re released.
