Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is pushing Nvidia on whether the company is doing enough to curb chip smuggling into China.
In a letter sent Monday to top legal officers at Nvidia, Warren asked how seriously the chipmaker is taking compliance with export controls. The letter comes in response to Nvidia’s ties to Supermicro, an information technology company whose co-founder has been charged with chip smuggling.
