The tech industry is glad President Donald Trump and the European Union are ready to dial down trade tensions and talk policy.

As part of a framework for trade talks, Trump and the EU have agreed they’ll both hold off on customs duties on electronic transmissions, according to an administration announcement. The EU also won’t adopt fees for heavy broadband users.
