Trump and his administration blame DEI for deadly airline crash

President Donald Trump partially blamed the Department of Transportation’s diversity program for the deadly crash of an American Airlines regional jet and a military helicopter.

The crash killed 67 people – 64 on the flight, which originated at Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita, and three service members, who were flying on a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter. The investigation is only just beginning but there’s no evidence at this time that suggests DEI initiatives played a role in the deadly collision.
