We told you earlier this year that this fall was shaping up to be a crucial time for U.S. housing policy. We still think that’s true! But what exactly that means is becoming harder to grasp.
There are two major efforts to reshape the American housing system happening in Washington right now. The first is the ROAD to Housing Act, which advanced through the Senate Banking Committee on a unanimous vote in July.
