Welcome back to Washington, Congress. At least whenever the snow allows. This week is shaping up to be another big one for Capitol Hill’s push to ease the construction of housing in the United States.
The Senate is considering a floor vote on the ROAD to Housing Act this week. No final decisions have been made. Whenever ROAD comes, it’ll be a major moment for Senate Banking Committee Chair Tim Scott
(R-S.C.) and Ranking Member Elizabeth Warren
(D-Mass.), who have closely collaborated on this bill and have gotten it through the Senate once before.
