News: The ROAD to Housing Act is expected to reach the Senate floor as soon as February after the chamber completes its portion of the annual appropriations process, according to sources familiar with the planning.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune flagged the ROAD to Housing Act as a priority in remarks earlier this month. The push to get the bipartisan package through the floor in the coming weeks follows resistance late last year from the House, where financial policy leaders now have their own housing reform package.
