Approps panel adopts DACA amendment

A bipartisan group of House appropriators today voted to allow Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program recipients to work in congressional offices, even as President Donald Trump continues to target immigrants nationwide.

Four Republicans joined Democrats on the House Appropriations Committee to vote 32-29 in support of Rep. Pete Aguilar’s (D-Calif.) amendment to the legislative branch funding bill.
