President Joe Biden tweeted this morning that Israel and Hamas had agreed to a ceasefire “framework.” The White House has since clarified that the tweet wasn’t meant to reflect new developments, but rather echo what the administration said yesterday — that talks are ongoing between Israel, regional allies and the United States.
News: Congressional aides for the Gang of 8 are expected to get a briefing from the administration on the status of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas. The briefing will take place this afternoon.
