JD Vance comes to Congress, talks Medicaid, Iran

Vice President JD Vance pushed Senate Republicans Tuesday to meet their July 4 deadline for budget reconciliation but said the real goal is for a bill to reach President Donald Trump’s desk before the August recess, according to multiple attendees at a closed-door Senate GOP lunch.

Vance’s comments align with the latest projections for the debt limit, which is a major component of the reconciliation bill.
