Was it always going to end this way? Probably.

President Donald Trump and mega-billionaire Elon Musk — recently of DOGE fame – have now entered the open warfare portion of their relationship.

The feud began over the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which Musk has called a "disgusting abomination” and noted that the bill will increase the government deficit if enacted. “Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it,” Musk said on X.
