Democrats skeptical after Iran briefing

Senate Democrats left a classified briefing on Thursday skeptical of the White House’s claim that U.S. air and missile strikes “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program.

And with a War Powers Resolution vote looming, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said the briefing reinforced his belief that President Donald Trump should have sought congressional approval before carrying out the attack.
