Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei will push lawmakers and administration officials in meetings this week to support a measure that would force advanced chips-makers to serve U.S. customers before selling to certain rival countries.
Amodei told reporters during a meeting near the Capitol on Monday that he’d be advocating for that provision — known as GAIN AI — plus a bill to track shipments of advanced semiconductors, as well as export control on the tech overall.
