SAN JOSE, Calif. — Nvidia has received export licenses from the Trump administration to send its H200 chip to “many” of the AI giant’s Chinese customers, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said Tuesday.
Purchase orders are coming in from China and Nvidia is beginning to “restart manufacturing” the chips, Huang said. The development is a dramatic change from just two weeks ago, the CEO said during a news conference at the Nvidia GTC conference.
