Senators say they’re seeing real progress in a long-stalled effort to secure bipartisan ethics language to ride in a landmark crypto bill. The development comes just one day after the push appeared at risk of going off the rails.
Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) told reporters after this week’s second bipartisan ethics sitdown that the talks are going significantly better than earlier in the week. “The Democrats came in, actually in good faith, to make a deal,” Moreno said. “I think we’re decently close.”
Keep in mind the deal will need a final sign-off from President Donald Trump.
