Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Susan Collins (R-Maine) said she’s heard nothing from the Trump administration about a prospective multibillion-dollar supplemental spending package for Iran.
It’s the latest indication of a lack of urgency for a supplemental request by the Pentagon, even as appropriators are clamoring for more information and warning they are running out of time to pass one.
“I’ve been surprised that the administration has not sent a supplemental yet,” Collins said.
