Heather Caygle

Heather has reported on Congress for more than a decade, covering everything from House leadership battles to two presidential impeachments. As managing editor, Heather contributes to and oversees the production of three daily newsletters focusing on the power, people and politics driving Washington. Previously, Heather worked at Politico, rising to congressional bureau chief. Before coming to Politico, she was a congressional reporter for Bloomberg BNA. Heather, an Alabama native, is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received her master’s degree from American University in Washington.
