Barr pushes capital gains tax cut

Exclusive: Rep. Andy Barr (R-Ky.) is dropping a bill to cut taxes on profits from selling investments and assets, known as capital gains.

Barr, a senior House Financial Services Committee member, is pushing the legislation to raise income brackets so that more people qualify for lower capital gains tax rates.
