House and Senate defense appropriators will get their turn to question Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. Dan Caine. And if those hearings remotely resemble Hegseth’s last appearance on the Hill a couple of weeks ago, it will get tense.

Defense: Monumental week ahead for defense policy

Lawmakers are returning to Capitol Hill this week to confront a daunting defense lineup.
