Secretary of State Marco Rubio won unanimous support for his confirmation. Rubio can expect a far rougher ride from his former Senate colleagues when he appears before them this week to answer questions on President Donald Trump’s actions against Venezuela.
Rubio’s due to enter the hot seat on Wednesday at 10 a.m., as we scooped last week. Rubio is sure to get a grilling from Democratic members of the committee on everything from the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro to the White House’s posture toward Greenland.
