Leadership, committee chairs, Tucker: Inside MKE’s most exclusive dinner

Inside the room: Forty-five of the top Republican lobbyists, lawmakers and campaign operatives wined and dined Tuesday night at Mason Street Grill in Milwaukee.

The dinner was organized by GOP mega lobbyist Jeff Miller, Arthur Schwartz of Axiom Advisors and Cliff Sims, a long-time figure in Trump world.

In attendance was a who’s who of K Street, Corporate America and top lawmakers.

Members: Senate Republican Conference Chair John Barrasso, NRSC Chair Steve Daines, Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.), NRCC Chair Richard Hudson, Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith (R-Mo.) and Rep. French Hill (R-Ark.), who is vying to be the next chair of the House Financial Services Committee.

Political world: Montana Senate candidate Tim Sheehy, Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dave McCormick and his wife Dina Powell, Ohio Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, Congressional Leadership Fund President Dan Conston and NRSC Executive Director Jason Thielman.

Trump World: Andy Surabian, Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Tucker Carlson and former Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

K Street/Corporate America: Wayne Berman and Joe Carapiet of Blackstone, GOP donor Joe Popolo, PhRMA’s Chris Young, Andrew Lundquist of ConocoPhillips, API’s Mike Sommers, Todd Walker and Phil Park of Altria, Kyle Samani of Multicoin Capital, Omeed Malik of Farvahar Partners, Gary Cohn of IBM and formerly of the Trump White House, billionaire Arkansas banker Warren Stephens and Vu Ritchie, Stephens Inc.’s government affairs director.

Miller, Schwartz and Trump Jr. all spoke briefly, thanking people for their support of former President Donald Trump.
