First in The Vault: Credit card advocates are unveiling a Halloween-themed campaign aimed at protecting the sector’s credit card swipe fees.

The Electronic Payments Coalition is telling consumers that a 2010 amendment to Dodd-Frank via Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and other crackdowns on interchange fees “still haunt Americans’ wallets.”

The message here is about the same as we’ve heard from credit card advocates over the past few years. But now, there’s ghost imagery! Tombstones! Spooky!
