Tester’s last hurrah?

The banking industry’s favorite Democrat is in a pinch.

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) is down in the polls against Republican Tim Sheehy, the former Navy SEAL and businessman. That’s gotten a lot of attention in recent weeks because Tester’s departure from the Senate would likely hand control of the chamber to Republicans for the first time since 2020.
