The chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission said he is optimistic Congress would advance significant crypto legislation next year, citing the change in government as a catalyst.
“Whether or not [the FIT for the 21st Century Act] happens this year, I think the momentum going into the next Congress, having a new president and administration for sure, on either side, will bode well for digital assets,” Chair Rostin Behnam said on stage at DC Fintech Week.
