The Banking panel is still negotiating a roster of bills that will be considered next week, but Rounds and Kim are hoping their bills make the cut.

Rounds, Kim drop bipartisan NEPA reform bills

First in the Vault: Sens. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) and Andy Kim (D-N.J.) are teaming up to deploy two bipartisan housing bills ahead of a Senate Banking Committee markup expected next week.

Rounds is leading an effort to streamline the review process mandated by the National Environmental Policy Act. Kim is leading another that would allow the Department of Housing and Urban Development to delegate grant program reviews to state and local authorities, including tribal ones.
