Senate Republicans unveil landmark housing bill

First in The Vault: Republicans on the Senate Banking Committee led by Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.) have a bill to reshape the U.S. housing market.

This is the fullest response we’ve seen from Senate Republicans to the American housing crisis. The ROAD to Housing Act would make a broad series of changes to the rules that govern the funding and oversight of how housing gets built in the United States.

Consider this a starting offer from Republicans if the party takes control of the Senate next year.
