News: House Ways and Means Committee Republicans huddled this morning with two key players in the GOP tax world as part of the panel’s 2025 tax prep.

Former Chair Dave Camp (R-Mich.) and Mark Prater, who was a top Senate Republican tax aide and worked on the 2017 Trump tax cuts, held a briefing for the lawmakers at the Library of Congress, according to four people familiar with the plans. Both now have roles downtown at PwC. Prater lobbies for PwC and does work on behalf of the Business Roundtable and the R&D Coalition.
