Janet Yellen flags growing China-Russia exports

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen told the Senate this afternoon that the U.S. government is concerned about the growing number of Chinese exports to Russia amid President Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine.

Testifying before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government, Yellen flagged “an increase” in exports from China to Russia, “particularly of certain dual-use goods that may be critical to Russia’s war effort.”
