Inside the House GOP’s effort to pass its four funding bills

At 10:30 p.m. this evening, the House will take up four appropriations bills: Defense, Agriculture, State-Foreign Operations and Homeland Security.

The House GOP leadership says they believe they can pass each one besides Agriculture, although “SFOPS,” as it’s known, has had some issues. Defense and Homeland Security seem to have the best chance. Agriculture is almost certain to fail, according to Republican appropriators and aides.
