The Virginia Supreme Court is considering a GOP challenge to the legality of the Democrat-pushed referendum.

House Dems’ Virginia jitters, Florida lawsuit

It’s been nearly two weeks since Democrats won a key referendum in Virginia that could help them pick up four House seats in November.

And it’s been almost a week since the Virginia Supreme Court declined to let the certification of the redistricting referendum go forward. That’s left Virginia election officials unable to prepare for Aug. 4 primaries in the newly drawn districts.
